Nazareth

The city of nazareth is located in the heart of an undulating valley, where Jesus spent his boyhood and lived with Joseph and Mary.
Today, the little that remains of ancient Nazareth is buried in the basements of churches and monasteries and beneath the roads and pavaments of the bustling modern town.
The Old city of Nazareth, with its alleyways, market, and traditional craftsmen, conjures up the atmosphere of an ancient Galilean town.
Here is Basilica of the Annunciotion.

The first Maccabiach

The first Maccabiach
Originally conceived by Yosef Yekutieli, a 15-year-old inspired by the 1912 Stockholm Olympic Games, the Games were first held in 1932 after 14 years of development by Yekutieli and the Jewish National Fund. During the planning stages, the games were nicknamed the Maccabiyon, and 1932 was selected as the year to host the first games, marking the 1,800 anniversary to the Bar Kochba revolt.

Oradea Fortress

http://relisisi.blogspot.com

Oradea Fortress

Oradea Fortress
The fortress was build,as the legend says,on an island between the branches of Crisul
Repede River,near Peta rivulet.
In the beginning the fortification was formed by a vallum, consolidated with a palisade
and wooden towers.
From the very beginning,Oradea Fortress had the role of a polarizing nucleus of the
settlements in the Oradea area, being a political, military, legal, administrative and religious centre.
The 15th century was the "Golden Age" of the fortress, thanks to some bishops who were also great scholars-Andrea Scolari,Ioan Vitez of Zredna, and Sigismund Thurzo-Oradea
fortress became a humanist and renaissance centre, the first in size in central-eastern Europe. An impressive library was created, witch had almost all the works of the European humanists.
Today inside is the Hight school of art and picture.

Gratitude

"Gratitude ... goes beyond the "mine" and "thine" and claims the truth that all of life is a pure gift. In the past I always thought of gratitude as a spontaneous response to the awareness of gifts received, but now I realize that gratitude can also be lived as a discipline. The discipline of gratitude is the explicit effort to acknowledge that all I am and have is given to me as a gift of love, a gift to be celebrated with joy."

You say

"You say, 'If I had a little more, I should be very satisfied.' You make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you would not be satisfied if it were doubled."

/Charles Haddon Spurgeon/
http://relisisi.blogspot.com
"You say grace before meals. All right. But I say grace before the concert and the opera, and grace before the play and pantomime, and grace before I open a book, and grace before sketching, painting, swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing and grace before I dip the pen in the ink."

/G.K. Chesterton /
